Privacy policy

What we collect

• When you order: your name, email, phone number, and shipping and billing addresses.
• What you ordered, and when.
• Messages you send us.
• Your email address, if you sign up for our emails.
• How you use the site, such as the pages you view and your device and browser, through cookies and similar tools.

What we do not collect

We never see or store your full card number. Card payments go straight to Square, our payment processor. An Interac e-Transfer goes from your bank to ours.

Why we use it

• To process, ship and support your order.
• To answer your messages.
• To send you the emails you asked for. Every email has an unsubscribe link.
• To understand how the site is used, and to improve it.
• To meet our legal and accounting obligations.

Who else handles it

We share only what each service needs to do its job. We do not sell your personal information.

• Square, for card payments.
• Our shipping carrier, for your name and address, to deliver your order.
• Klaviyo, for our emails.
• Google Analytics, and the advertising platforms we use, to measure how the site and our ads perform.
• Kinsta, which hosts this site.

Cookies

We use cookies to keep your cart and account working, to remember that you confirmed you are 19 or older, and for analytics. You can block or delete cookies in your browser. The cart and checkout need them to work.

How long we keep it

We keep order records for as long as tax and accounting law requires. We keep everything else only as long as we need it for the reasons above.

Your choices

You can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it where the law allows. Email us to ask. You can unsubscribe from our emails at any time with the link in any email.

Questions or concerns

Email us first. If we cannot resolve your concern, you can contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.
