Who should not take our products, what not to combine them with, and how to store them.
Who should not take it
Our products are not for you if any of these apply.
- You are under 19.
- You have a personal or family history of psychosis.
- You take lithium.
- You take an SSRI or an SNRI.
- You are pregnant or nursing.
- You have a heart condition.
Why these, specifically
Psychosis. Research guidelines for this family of substances exclude people with a personal or family history of psychotic disorders1. We follow the same line.
Lithium. In an analysis of 62 online reports of lithium combined with this family of substances, 47% described a seizure2. The authors call the finding provisional. We take it as a firm no.
SSRIs and SNRIs. In a survey covering 611 reports, about half of people on these medications described weaker effects than they expected3.
Some reported weaker effects for up to three months after stopping3. Do not take more to make up for it.
Pregnancy and nursing. There is no safety research we can point to, so the answer is no.
Other medication
If you take any other prescription medication, ask your pharmacist or doctor before you begin.
Never stop or change a prescription in order to take our products.
Not with alcohol or other substances
Take our products on their own. No alcohol, no cannabis and no other substance on a dose day.
Mixing adds risk, and it makes it impossible to tell what you are feeling and why.
Driving, work and machinery
Do not drive or operate machinery on a dose day, at any tier, including Micro.
Do not take a dose before any work where a mistake could hurt you or someone else.
A trusted setting
Choose somewhere private and familiar, with nowhere you need to be. The first time you try a new tier, have someone you trust nearby.
Storage
Keep every product in its original labelled pouch, so the amount stays with it. Store it sealed, somewhere cool, dry and dark.
Keep it out of reach and out of sight of children and pets. Chocolates look like ordinary chocolate, so store them where no one will mistake them.
If a child swallows any, call 911 or your local poison centre right away. If a pet does, call your veterinarian.
